     Present business operation, mostly has brought various types of technology to help in their works for higher efficiency in the very competitive situation. For the smooth and secure business operation in their works, safety system is important to help in increasing the confidence of many organizations.             Bangkok Systems & Software Co., Ltd. was established in 1991 with business operation’s aim in consulting and safety systems planning to various organizations for more than 15 years for the safety in business operation, by using modern technology and as new standardize popularly used in oversea countries. That has made the imported products to become the major problem to our service. Because when the oversea has produced and launched new item, then the old one won’t have new spare parts for changing, that has caused difficulty to the customers and the price is rather high.

            Lately, we have produced and distributed the Finger Scan machine on our own, from then on; Finger Scan has become the main business to the company, to which the present market tendency is very good. Thai people have started to take note and to acknowledge more and more on this technology. Acknowledgment & demand has increased, therefore, the company has to employ more people to support the expansion occurred from the growth in this market”.

            Many may feel puzzle why the company’s Finger Scan machine to have this brand name and it has its own meaning as well. Because, when the machine scanned the fingerprint, it would record the intersection points of the fingerprint of each person, which has different structure, this intersection point is called  MINUTIAE. 

            Before MINUTIAE has what is today, it has gone through the Hardware & Software Testing Program for thousands time from R&D department before introducing into the market to increase the customer’s operation potential, and not to be the problem to customers. 

            MINUTIAE has fingerprint Scan systems with non complicated main operation, when user has registered the original  fingerprint , the FingerScan machine would record all those fingerprint in database, with system officer will decide the working authority for each worker. Every time when placing the finger onto the lens, the FingerScan machine will test and compare with the original fingerprint. Then the result will be shown by green light in case of clocking the working hours successfully together with the warning sound “Passed” through loud speaker to tell the working status, and the red light for the fault scanning together with warming sound “Failed”. The fingerprint scanning speed is apprx. 2-3 seconds per person for 10,000 fingerprint database. MINUTIAE will not read artificial fingerprint and the finger with too dry or too cold condition.

            MINUTIAE is fingerprint Scanning Machine which is able to use with out pressing the password code and able to record original fingerprint of up to 10 fingers per person, it’s able to select to scan any finger, either left or right, it helps facilitate the operation, such as, if right pointed finger is injured, it can use left pointed finger instead, etc. Other than the ability for time recorded, MINUTIAE is also able to record the working hours including the control of IN-OUT. It’s able to unlimi8ted selection of the functions to set up the working hours and to determine the authorized operation for each employee. MINUTIAE gathered information in Text File, that’s enable to process in all brands of Payroll Program with efficiency, correctly and quickly. It’s also enable to look at the information in real time from the Central unit as well.

1.       Check the history of manufacturer’s business operation period, the amount of Authorized Capital, what is the main business and any customer’s reference as security and confident that, the company would have expertise personnel able to take care all the problems for you and would not close the business operation in 2-3 years starting from the day you have decided to buy the system.

2.       Check the history of introduced company, distributor or the company that has imported the system. By taking the same measure as checking the history of manufacturer.

3.       Distributor or the system imported company should have certified document or license to distribute from the manufactured company to guarantee that the distributor has receive the training from the manufacturer and able to take care and install the system or to solve problem for you and able to get support from the manufacturer.

4.       The offered company should have adequate supporting team, able to give service quickly and should have service contract document to guarantee to give service quickly and should have service contract document to guarantee to give confident to the customer that they will receive the after sales service as agreed.

5.       Customer should buy product that has production base locally to prevent from support & service problem in the future.

6.       You should not select the product from the company that has more than 1 Brand of the same product, due to, the distributor does not have enough knowledge and skill in that product which will become the problem in the future. You should select the company with selling, installing and service that system for at least 2 years.

7.       Checking that, whether the company’s distributor has guarantee at least 3 years spare parts or not, so that to guarantee the problem solving ability that might occur to the system.

8.       The distributor should offer at least 1 years warrantee to the system and parts free of charge on all parts.

9.       Distributor of seller of fingerprint system should have maintenance contract for another 2 years to show the sincerity to the customers.

10.   You should ask for customer’s reference list and telephone number that used the same system you are looking for, to check whether there was real operation and able to inquire further information on the product, the performance and the service for decision making

Current position :

   On 1 September 2000,holding the position of Managing Director, Bangkok System & Software Co.,Ltd.

            At first, I was thinking of gaining experience in private company, but at that time, Bangkok Systems & Software Co.,Ltd. which was the family business had faced the lack of management problem, because my uncle in-law, one of the partners, had left for his own business, Only my father was left in the company, he wasn’t an expert with the computer and I was just came back from the USA at that time, so my father had asked me to help the family business.

            At present, I have managed this company for 5 years now, there were some improvement on management, such as, from family business system, I have used the PCL Management pattern or using professional management to combine with the family system, and currently, the company has changed in great deal. In the past, it was managed in family style, but later, I have changed it but still did not throw away the family system. I have taken the advantage parts from the family system and the professional management system to combine together, because both systems have good & bad point.

            The disadvantage point of the family system is that, a it’s too easy going, it’s not in the middle. As for the disadvantage point of the management system is, sometimes, it’s too cruel/heartless, i.e. when the employees were out of commission, they were kick off. So we have taken in between to take only the advantages of both systems.

            Mr.Kenny Nawani has confirmed that, in the future, the company would not discard this kind of management principle.

            “ We will work as professional, but in the company’s relationship matter, we will live like a family, like brothers & sisters and in the future, I think we would still maintain this concept ”.
