HASP DocSeal is an advanced hardware-based system for intellectual property protection and protecting sensitive information. It allows you to encrypt your HTML files, ensuring that your information is safe and secure, and restricted from unauthorized access and duplication.
HASP DocSeal is composed of the HASP key (USB or parallel), which provides two-sided protection, and the secure DocSeal document viewer. Together, they provide unbeatable, triple protection:

• Your documents are encrypted via the HASP key, securing their contents from unauthorized readers.

• Only your customized DocSeal Viewer, and no other viewer, can decrypt and read the encrypted files.

• Access to your protected files is possible only when the appropriate HASP key is connected to the computer.

HASP Key

At the heart of the HASP DocSeal system, is the HASP key - the most reliable and effective hardware-based protection system on the market. Every HASP key contains an embedded encryption engine with an algorithm that is inaccessible and hidden from prying eyes.


DocSeal Viewer

Only your customized DocSeal Viewer, and no other viewer, can decrypt and read the encrypted files which have been encrypted through the HASP key’s encryption engine. The Viewer enables the viewing of documents in an environment that restricts saving, copying, printing, screen-printing or transferring of the decrypted data, preventing the leakage of classified information.


Flexible Protection Options

HASP DocSeal and HASP keys complement one another to provide you with unparalleled HTML document protection. The various types of HASP keys support numerous document distribution models.

For example, with a HASP memory key, you can tailor your DocSeal Viewer to specific users, so that it loads and runs only when a user’s HASP key, containing a specific ID number, is connected to the computer. This enables targeting protected documents for defined users. Another example is the real-time, clock-based HASP key, which allows users to view documents for a limited period. This enables the renting of documents and charging for them periodically.

Security: Unparalleled protection is accomplished through the HASP key, together with the DocSeal Viewer. But document protection does not stop there. The ability to copy/paste/save/print/print screen the data is restricted and the protected data cannot be passed to or used by unauthorized people.
